Product Details
In keeping with the personality of Fangface, the ring opens with a hinged top, much like the classic poison rings of the past. Lift the skull and there is a compartment underneath. It is a genuine working mechanism rather than a decorative seam, and it is the detail that makes people ask to hold it. The fangs, the ridged brow and the hollow eye sockets are carved rather than stamped, so the ring keeps its bite from every angle.
Materials and Finish
Every Monkey Wrench ring is cast in solid sterling silver, not plated and not filled, then finished by hand with a patina that sinks into the undercuts and throws the detail into relief. The high points stay bright, the recesses stay dark, and the sculpt reads clearly from across a room. Because that patina is worked by hand, no two rings come out identical.
Sizing and Fit
Offered in full and half sizes from 6.5 through 13.5, so it fits the finger you actually want it on rather than the one that happens to work. If you are between sizes or buying a gift, the What's my size? guide on this page walks through measuring at home with a strip of paper and a ruler.
Made to Order
Nothing here sits in a warehouse waiting for an order. Each piece is cast, finished and inspected after you buy it, which usually takes two to six weeks depending on the queue and how involved the piece is. That wait is the whole point: what arrives was made for you, in your size, by the same hands that sculpted the original.
